Pastor Noli Melo Buagas, who has been in the ministry even before he married Ruth Ramada, planted and pastored local churches in Surigao del Norte and Cebu City, arrived with the family in Metro Manila in May of 1987.
The Lord provided them a shelter in Olivarez Compound, Sucat Road, Paranaque City. Nearby their house was a small congregation of the Unida Church where they then attended during Sunday morning. Few Sundays after, Pastor Noli was requested to teach Sunday school and later became their regular Sunday Pastor. But this was stopped after two years because the house they used for gathering was no longer available and most of the members moved to the province and other places.
Since their own house was not suitable for a church gathering, they looked for a bigger place. Many available and suitable places for church but the rental were impossible. As the Lord directed them, they found themselves serving God with the Paranaque Alliance Christian Church.
Mr. And Mrs. Rodrigo Crescencio, both part of Pastor Nolis ministry in the Visayas, moved to Mandaluyong City in December 1992 and attended a Methodist Church. When they transferred to Paranaque in April 1993, they were attending a Baptist Church. It was the time they met again the Buagas family. Pastor Noli arranged with the Crescencios if it was possible to use their house in starting a local church. The Lord opened the door. The Buagas family bid their farewell to the Alliance church. So in the first Sunday of March 1994, the GRACE GOSPEL FELLOWSHIP was held in Multinational Village, Moonwalk, Paranaque City.
Since then, every Sunday the Lord was blessing them with new faces of visitors and some of them eventually became active members. The attendance grew up until they could no longer be accommodated at the Crescencios house.
Very timely, Mr. and Mrs. Morata from Davao City has to come to Metro Manila to extend their Pharmaceutical Laboratory business and also to occupy the house they bought in Las Pinas City. The congregation in Multinational Village was invited to join them in the Thanksgiving Service of their new house on the last Sunday of April 1994. It was then agreed also as the Moratas offered their house to be used for Sunday morning church gathering. The Lord continued blessing upon this Fellowship. More and more brethren coming from the Visayas, Mindanao and Southern Luzon staying or working in Metro Manila, gladly wanted to join the Fellowship.
Problems sometimes become an opportunity for blessings. Again, they could no longer be accommodated in the Moratas house. It was a must to look for a bigger place. After so many prayers, the Lord lead them to BDL Bldg., Quirino Ave., Tambo, Paranaque City in July 31, 1994.In this place was held the 1st GGF Anniversary.
After a year, God led them again to a new and more accessible place in Pelaez St, still along Quirino Ave., San Dionisio, Paranaque City. They stayed in this place for six months only. They encountered a terrible financial difficulty in this place. The rental was so big and it was the untimely withdrawal of their rental sponsor.
The time came for the church to stand alone as a local group without any outside financial support. God provided a place with just enough space for the fellowship to continue at a very affordable price. GGF moved last January 22, 1996 here in JTL Bldg., Quirino Ave., Kabihasnan, San Dionisio, Paranaque City. They held their 2nd up to the present 9th Church Anniversary here.
Year 2000, another local church was planted in Taytay, Rizal (History of GGF-Taytay can be visited @ www.gracegospel.faithweb.com) Pastor Rod Crescencio is pastoring that church at this time. Though several individuals and families were already gone to provinces, abroad and other places, another batch of people God called to join GGF-Parañaque.

BRIEF INSIGHT by our Pastor
The Grace Gospel Fellowship Metro Manila was started as a house fellowship in March 6, 1994 and officially registered in August 16, 1995. Just like a journey, we met and went many ups and downs in attendance, in church income and even spiritually. So many happiness, sadness, joys, discouragements, excitements etc, experienced by everyone who went with GGFPI-Metro Manila trip for the last 9 years. However, God remained faithful and He is not through with us. He still shapes the clay in His hands.
GGF-PI Metro Manila has existed by the grace of God, using His people to financially support its needs. We would like to express our gratitude to every one who have been behind and part to help carry on GGF-PI Ministries. Truly as Paul said . . . . . beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, for as much as ye know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord. 1 Cor. 15:58.
Today marks the 9th year of Enduring Faith to God and to His Word. May we continue to cling on to the promises of God. Let us steadfastly look forward to that blessed hope of His appearing.
Let us continue to serve the Lord while we can and while we have the time.
